Looking for a torque wrench? Why not try Aldi's?

Personally, I'd rather go to a shop/supermarket where they have those shopping trolleys. The idle beggars who can't be arsed to return their trolleys to the bays are responsible for no end of dents in vehicles in the car park, when the trolleys go trundling off on their own.

i couldn't help but read that in a british accent

So at Aldis they are widow makers, but the same setup at Walmart is a heckuva deal.

to be honest the 360 swivel handle model at wal-mart is still utter junk... the set at aldi just includes some stands for less money

And it can't cost that much to maintain carts, harbor Freight does not seem to have a problem. or walmart. or Big Lots.

i can't speak for every HF but the one here isn't that busy and the majority of customers aren't using a cart so yeah it would be easy to keep them sorted since they rarely need to retrieve them, wal-mart is a major high profit corporate behemoth that can afford to have staff who are dedicated to bringing in carts from the lot and also afford to have an electric pusher so the cart pushers can bring in more at once... every big lots i've gone to rarely has any carts in the store and i always have to bring one in from the lot myself

back on the topic of the torque wrench... a handful of sockets and an extension isn't worth an extra $7 over an HF torque wrench IMO

Torque wrench? :headscrat

Oh yeah! The original subject of this thread. I agree it isn't worth the extra money over HF. It does seem like a nicely put together kit though.

I just noticed they have next weeks ad up now. $30 cordless drill, $15 palm sander, $6 48" level, $5 clamps, and a few other things.

I may have to check out that level. I'm curious as to what all they'll be rolling out over the summer.

Not even close. Our local Aldi sells fresh, locally grown produce, meat, and other food items. During the holidays they also keep a regular stock of Ghiradelli and Lindt cocoa and chocolates, unlike the other stores which order a small token amount to sell amongst a high percentage of weeks-old **** food. No, they dont worry about selling mostly "name brands," but frankly I care more about quality of my food than the name on the package.
