Looking for a Trim/Panel Clip Assortment

Just order the assortments from amazon. I've ordered thousands off amazon to put together an assortment that covers almost all I'll run into. They are so cheap on amazon that you can spend 100 bucks and get thousands. My local napa has a catalog that you has an actual clip to compare too and it's really nice when you need one but they are also pretty expensive per clip. Even if you need 10 different clips in the next few years it's cheaper to spend 50-100 bucks on kits from amazon to have laying around. So nice to be able to have what you need laying around.

I’ve had the best luck from the fastener warehouse. When they list a specific type it’s actually the right part and not some generic one.

In my experience, buying an assortment pretty much guarantees that it won't have the one special fastener that you actually need, and there will be a whole bunch of fasteners that you'll never use but refuse to throw out.

Auveco makes all that stuff. They're the OEM supplier for the car manufacturers.

I've bought a number of Auveco clips and fasteners for the trim on three Tacomas and one Lexus. I've been perfectly satisfied with their stuff, which is not something one can usually say about non-OEM branded products.

This was the most comprehensive set I could find. It has 36 different fasteners and cost $25. The Auveco sets I looked at were listed as make specific and were around $60 each.

Glad it had the right one. At 60 bucks a set for the Auveco ones you can order 2 or 3 different kits from amazon and have a pretty good chance of having every type of fastener you will ever need.

I buy Auevco by the box full on the vehicles I work on most.
A box doesnt last long when everyone knows you have them.
Never have figured out why someone will drive 20 miles;
past several parts stores to get a few "free" clips from their buddy.....

I think I spent about $20 total shipped on few bags of fasteners from ebay. Wild guess none of them will ever fit anything newer than 20 years old cars, but if ONE of them ever does the job its worth it.
