Hey guys, I have a bathroom just inside my main garage, but it's completely finished with an ugly 1980s decor. I want to renovate it anyway, but I'm frequently struggling with filling up buckets, no hose access, and I had the idea of putting a straight utility sink in there, but my SO said no. Are there any utility sinks that don't look like they belong in an unfinished basement?

I have a very nice deep enabled cast iron sink that I will be putting into my garage.

Would a farmhouse sink be acceptable?

Also, what about just getting a faucet that a small length of hose can attach to?

Or a pot filling faucet that could swing over to fill a bucket?

Neighbor put a modular home on his lake lot. The second bathroom incorporates the laundry, and the sink is a laundry tub built into a cabinet vanity. Don’t know where it cane from, but it sounds exactly what you are looking for.

I like a bar sink (stainless steel) for the garage, but it's not big enough to fill a bucket. Maybe a single-bottom kitchen sink would be better with a high faucet or even better, and adjustable height faucet.

A kitchen faucet with a pull out sprayer is what I use to fill buckets. As a matter of fact the sprayer is still under the counter in the cabinet, I haven't had reason to drill the countertop yet, I just open the cabinet door when I need it.

mine is a kohler river falls -- white with wire insert. It's very deep -- great laundry sink .. the wire insert allows for working at normal depth when deep sink is not needed.

Sink is about $700 ... can't remember if the insert is extra.

Why not add a hose bibb at knee level next to the sink? It could be pretty unobtrusive.

This would work best with a floor drain.

I'm guessing this is a half-bath, right? I fill buckets in the tub all the time.

An hf reel hose(or whatever you trust for whatever reason you don't trust others) mounted under the sink to a tee connection.
You can go 25feet away to fill a bucket.
Google images for a sink you like.
Too many solutions.

I just noticed you said bathroom -- my sink above is really for a laundry room. What you want may be too big for any women to agree in a bathroom.

I typically don't build new with bathtubs -- and remove when remodeling ... so we use our deep laundry sink occasionally for the dogs etc.

Buy something like this or you can just buy a sink and make/buy a cabinet that suits you

we just had to redo our walk out basement due to water damage. this was one of the sinks i looked at. i ended up going with one similar for same price. it has same cabinet, but stainless steel basin and the faucet is on right side instead of left. i think its 19" deep, but the faucet has a pull out sprayer, so even if bucket doesn't fit under, it can still be filled.
my basement has a small shop/laundry rm connected to the full "basement style" bathroom, so the deep sink was kindda needed for anything that gets really dirty that needed to be cleaned up. its a little bit larger than a single kitchen sink, but not so big that it looks out of place in a mud room type bathroom
i can try and attach a pic if desired

edit- that cabinet and sink/faucet all came together, which was a plus!

Menards sells drop in fiberglass ultility sinks that look nice. They are deep which works for buckets. They do not come with holes so you can use any faucet.

I found the biggest stainless steel sink I could at a ReStore and made a cabinet around it. I got it for 60 bucks. It's undermount style.

I ordered a commercial kitchen faucet off Amazon for 80 bucks that has the wand on a spring.

Plenty tall and flexible for filling buckets and dumping out buckets.

And it won't look like a slop sink.

we have that kitchen faucet in our kitchen sink, it is amazing! only problem is we cannot get the nut under the sink tight enough to stop the faucet from spinning. not enough space between wall and sink basin to get the faucet pipe wrench thingy up there and get it tightened all the way... or im doing it wrong

my bet is on me doing it wrong
