I came across a company that made hangers, (not sure if thats the right word) for building a pole barn. If I remember correctly, by using them you could eliminate using roof truss. I can not find the web site but I think the company was based out of PA. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I am starting the plans for a 24 x 36 pole barn. I have 16 6x6x10's left over from my house build that I am going to use as posts. I also have a bunch of lumber left over as well so I am trying to use that to save costs. My thoughts are to frame out the back 12 ft and make a shop with a 2nd floor storage area, so I am looking into my options for height and usable space for the roof design
