OK I know this topic has been beaten to death but I after reading as much as I can stand I am just left asking myself what is best for my needs???

OK I am planning on coating two floors.

1. 30x40 pole barn, typical uses are relatively light auto maintenance, storage, some wood working... overall I would classify it as a light duty shop. I do have a lift and unfortunately my classic does leak on occasion so all sorts of oil is likely to make an appearance at some point.

Color\Style: Not 100% sure on the colors I want to go with but I do know that I want to go with the flake look.

2. 910 sqft Home 3 car garage, typical home garage use, park cars, kids bikes & toys but otherwise it's not likely to be abused to bad.

Color\Style: Tan, Almond or something similar with the black white tan flake.

I have had one person give me a quote for $3\sqft for epoxy but he would not share the product details and told me that all the prep that was required was cleaning the floor with de natured alcohol so I am skeptical.

I am not opposed to doing the job myself but I am completely lost on which product might be right for me. I have looked at RustBullet, ArmorPoxy, Rustoleum and any others that I can find on google but again can't make a decision.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!

If there is a product that you would recommend that you have used yourself I would love to see the results.

DO NOT BUY PRODUCT from anyone who will not give product details.....

What condition is the concrete in now?

Rust Bullet is not practical for what you are looking to do. I would look at All Weather Floors Polyurea Garage Floor Coating or a high solids garage floor epoxy with an aliphatic urethane top coat. Make sure you use an anti wear anti skid with either product

Thanks Justin, I am glad you chimed in, i have been leaning towards RustBullet so thanks for steering me away but curious why it would not be good for me. As for the two that you did recommend, can you comment on the ability for one to apply themselves? I did not see any info for the Polyurea with regards to install.

Lastly, with the anti wear\anti skid will that have an impact on the ability to clean the floor?

Thanks for the reply.

Any additive has some impact but this is so fine it is minimal and benifits greatly outweigh the downside.

The Polyurea is a single component product. Other than prep, which requires etch or grind, it is the easiest of all the products we sell

Lots to choose from, engage a vendor with your specs and let them quote it.
Most vendors will give you a list of products, tech sheets are typically on the web.

Good luck. I attached a pic from a Legacy Industrial Full Flake Floor using a custom flake combo. The sky is the limit.

We always supply full tech and SDS data on request so a purchaser can make inform d comparisons and decisions. Agree, not a good idea to buy from a company that won't disclose.
