Looking for advice on color schemes for wall & floor etc

Hi. Looking for some advice on color schemes for my garage/shop.
22x20, 8ft walls. I have wood covering the foundation at the bottom, about a foot high and 8 inches deep. There is also a 1x6 board at the top which supports the upper floor. The rest of the wall is drywall.
The floor is a deep blue, I used Laticrete epoxy/aspartic coating.
I **** at colors and design. I was thinking to paint the wood sections in an accent color of some sort, and perhaps do a two tone on the walls.
Color suggestions and layouts would be very appreciated.

I am doing a two tone paint soon. I am doing a middle grey on the bottom (to hide dirt) and a really light grey or white from about 5' up to the ceiling, and white ceilings. Want to keep it super bright in there so its easy to see. Thinking of a 3-4" red strip between the top and bottom colours to add a highly and break it up.

I think your shop would look really cool with the same idea, and the middle stripe to be a blue that right matches your floor, or is one shade lighter/darker blue, to play off the floor colour. I would also paint the wood on the bottom the same middle grey that the walls are up to 5' and the top wood the same colour as the walls above the 5' mark. Make them blend in.

Most grays, from very light to medium, yellowish or bluish, go with royal blue. I would call your blue the accent and and another color the compliment, Using different blues for a trace more accent is good too. And you can use other colors in a minimalist way. Yellows and greens go with blue. Red does not. Red is an opposite to me even though in the world of color, green is the opposite of blue on the color wheel.

The color wheel shows orange to be blue's opposite with red and yellow compliments. I don't agree personally, and red and yellow make orange so it doesn't make sense to me.

There is contrast in color too, but a garage needs to stay simple and somewhat neutral. A contrast can be a very dark blue stripe. A contrast is a hue in the same family of colors. Some call it shades.

I was going to suggest dark gray/charcoal on the bottom and a lighter gray on the top with a red stripe. But the above picture from "OnSail" looks really good and you could always paint the floor in a scheme like that too. You will also need to buy a pool table

You will wish it was lighter colors when you are trying to light it and work in it. That includes the floor. Gonna be damned dark working under a car on a deep blue floor.

I have a ton of commercial LED lighting, so that shouldn't be too bad. I like a lot of light in my old(ish) age!

a light dove gray and a darker grey stripe and the white above, separate the gray strip w/ a blue pin stripe same color as the floor
