Hello there, I'm beginning the first time journey of having a 30'x40'x10' pole barn built with a 6/12 pitch. What i'm interested in is having the most height in the attic area, for storage. What would be the best trusses to use, the spread web or the scissor trusses.

Thanks for any advice

If you increased the pitch of your roof slightly to 9-in-12, and used room-in-attic trusses, you could get a second story that is 14' x 40'. The ceiling would be 8' in the center of the room, but shorter near the walls.
