Looking for advise.

Hello all,
I am looking for some advise. I have a 24x26 insulated garage (man cave) that i'm trying to heat. I am using a Miller oil furnace from a mobile home which works well but also loud. I recently added a 30k BTU blue flame vent free. The issue i am having is unless the oil furnace is on its gets very cold from the knees down. I live in Western New York which does get pretty cold sometimes, as I'm typing this it's 14 degrees out with a windchill of -3 on March 5th lol. Thanks for any advise given.

I used a mobile home furnace in my garage. Worked pretty well. The thing I don’t like is garages are expense per square foot and they take up floor space. Your climate is the same as mine. I’d get a Modine Hotdawg HD60. I have one in my shop up out of the way. If you heat it part time 1 hundred gallon propane tank is plenty.

Thanks for the info. I'm looking for something that doesn't produce a lot of noise. I had w wood stove for years but was informed by the building inspector that its against code to have one in a garage.

Keep in mind in many areas it's a code violation to use mobile home HVAC in a stationary dwelling and many AHJs will fail an inspection if you install used equipment. That may apply to garages, too.

What do you have for ceiling height? Can you get a tube heater up there ??

Put a small house fan out there to see if it helps any to move the air around. That is free to try out.
