Hey guys. Looking for an aluminum fabricator willing to take on a project.

We all have seen/had the Mickey Thompson finned aluminum valve covers on a vintage engine at some point in our life.

The problem I have is they never made a matching air cleaner to my knowledge. It's always bugged me that there is no match.

I'd like someone to create one for me. I'll be happy to send an edelbrock air cleaner as a template to use. I'd be looking for the M/T Air cleaner to have the same dimensions as the edelbrock lid so I can use the same filters and base.

Anyone want to tackle this? Cost estimate?

Can you get an generic air cleaner that looks, like, that but has no name?
Then you can remove some fins and either weld up or graph on the MT as you want it.

The other route is to look at the guys that do casting at home

What I would do is take the Edelbrock cleaner and cut out the part that says "Edelbrock" then get another M/T valve cover, cut that out and then graft the two together. You'll have to find a welder that knows their stuff though.
