hey guys im looking for a American made role around tool box.Looking to spend max of 2000.I want a 56 inch wide one top and bottom.Looking at kennedy but can't find a price or model number.Maybe a craftsmen if its made in usa.Thanks guys.

Craigslist is the way to go. I've also heard of some great deals on used boxes off the Snap On truck. There is no doubt that you'll save a lot of money, if you buy used.

American made:

Kennedy, Snap-On, Lista, Possibly Vidmar (Not sure on that one) and not a lot more off the top of my head.

Kennedy does not sell direct, so you need to go through Granger, MSC and the like for pricing.

I don't think any Craftsman boxes are currently made in America. a few are in Canada or Mexico, the rest are imported from afar, and their quality and robustness is a faint shadow of the old boxes...
