Are there any companies out there making a decent aluminum floor jack?
I'm not looking for anything super nascar/F1-esque, I just need to occasionally jack up my car for oil changes, servicing the breaks, etc.
Why aluminum?? Unless you're lifting/transporting the jack from site to site there is no advantage.
For regular garage driveway use steel jacks are better built and give you more lift capacity for the $'s spent.
Costco's Arcan is an excellent 3T jack for <$100.
Harbor Freight's cheap aluminum jacks have poor front caster design, no pins just nuts and they lock up.
What kinda car ya got and any other vehicles you'll be using the jack for?
