This Hoover bench grinder was a friend of mine's but I think it was his father's that worked at Hoover's in the 30's into the mud 60's...I found a little bit of info on Kingston and Connolly, but not enough to nail down an approximate year..Any general info on Hoover's bench grinders would also be much welcomed-An incredible Company back in the day...Thanks in advance

You need to make GOOGLE you new best friend. I Googled the information you posted and in less than a second I had the year 1952 appear. You should try it. Your life will become better.
Not many of us can say, "This was my friend's grinder."

Not sure what you did but I appreciate it...Was on Google off and on all afternoon looking for anything on Hoover's bench grinders and came up empty...Much appreciated...As for my friend, he passed away and I sort of inherited most alot of his tools..Thanks again.

I simply took your information of HOOVER BENCH GRINDER tapped enter and I got the information. The Google information also showed the other information on the motor tag. It is just that easy. I am nearly 80 and not in mph. I have to assume you are much younger than I.

Looks exactly like my Millers Falls grinder.... may just be a re-badge. Cool.

There is a Millers Falls thread here if you want to see it...
