Looking for an idea for cutting tool

Wife has recently been making bullet jewelry, and cutting the slices of bullet cases has proven to be the most difficult part of the process. Been using a Dremel tool with cut off wheel, takes forever. Made a jig for the bandsaw, bullet gets too hot. Been putting some of the longer cases in my cordless drill Chuck and spinning them in a pipe cutter, but won't work for 9mm etc.
So I'm trying to figure out a mini cutoff wheel, lathe or something else that can make this process quick and easy, without breaking the bank or taking a massive amount of machining/fabrication.

So, any ideas from fellow tool junkies?

Post a pic of what to are doing.

And please learn proper terminology, sounds like she is making jewelry from brass casings, not bullets.

Yes, casings. Empty brass, spent shells, whatever you wanna call them. Cutting the end off like a coin, so as to read the caliber/size etc. Sometimes removing the primer and replacing with a jewel/gemstone.

If it was me I think I would try using a drip press or clamping a drill in a vise.
Put a piece of metal round stock, a bolt, or a dowel in the casing so you can clamp it well with the chuck
Then I would spin it and use the dremmel to part it off.

If you can find a cheap lathe then that would be good to
