Is there anything such as a "quiet" compressor? I've built a small electronic tech bench in the office and would love to have access to compressed air, however as we all know, compressors are loud as hell. I don't need a high number PSI, maybe 50-75lbs., just enough to blow out CPU's and other small electronic items. I've thought about an airbrush compressor, though I don't think it would be strong enough. Several years ago someone on this forum mentioned a refridgerator compressor, but that seems like a complicated setup. Any thoughts?

Look at silent airbrush compressor. It's basically a refrigerator compressor.
They aren't cheap but they are quiet.
Another option is to get a portable air tank and fill it with your regular compressor. I used to do this for my nail guns before they cam out with cordless ones.
Tanks are cheap.

I agree with the air tank. A small tank located near the point of use and a small compressor out of the way in a closet or inside of a cabinet.

I have an old Badger airbrush compressor I got for $35 off Craigslist that’s pretty cheap, and would be suitable for light dust removal if a small tank could be incorporated. Inside the case it looks like a small refrigerator compressor and is about as loud.

The Amazon reviews read like they were written by an eighth grader who had to look up air compressor on google.

Have you taken a look at air brush compressors? They are super quiet, small, and can be found with 75PSI depending on the brand.

If all I was going to do was to blow dust from keyboards, I’d go this route. A 12 pack is 50 bucks at Costco.
