I would buy a 30/60 set, ATD or V8, if I thought the quality was decent. I presently don't have much need for angle wrenches so Snap-on is too much for 'just in case'.

I believe most manufacturers/importers feel there is not enough demand for 30/60s.

In the case of the Tektons you now have, how well do they work?

I have not had the opportunity to use the Tekton angle wrenches yet. My use will be minimal, but everyone here seems to believe that they will give satisfactory performance so I have no reason to doubt they will serve me fine. I was just quite disappointed in their appearance as compared to the same tier Sunex angle wrenches.

Yep I use that wrench everyday at work. A couple of them. Have some with the handles cut short also. They are great.

All other things being equal ... would you prefer 15/60 or 30/60 angle heads?

I was referring to the ridgid hex pipe wrench. I would suggest you grab one of those as well. Obviously they wont fit everywhere by their design but they are very useful and open to like 2-5/8''. Far as the angle wrenches 30/60 angle heads are always preferable. For me I am not going to pay 7-800 bucks for a set of snap on. Because it wouldnt cover most of the fitting sizes I deal with are quite a bit bigger than the snapon set that only goes to like 1-1/4'' I think.

I think previous threads here mentioned v8 tools or someone else makes the 30/60 angles. You have to be careful buying from certain sites, even amazon, because it could be old stock angle wrenches which are 15/30. So be sure to verify that.

Long story short get the cheap 30/60 wrench set if you can find it and get a ridgid hex pipe wrench as well. http://www.amazon.com/Ridgid-31305-8-Inch-8-Inch-Capacity/dp/B0009W9BT0
