Trying to set up an oil pressure sensor and gauge on my track toy. I have some braided steel line that will work, but it has fixed male ends on both ends and I would rather not use a union. Any ideas are welcome.

Install an 1/8" NPT to AN fitting then use AN fittings on the braided line.

What type of fittings are on the braided line you have now?

Okay let me try to clarify. The block is a Honda K24. The opening into the block is from the stock oil pressure sensor which is just an idiot light and is 1/8 BSPT. I have an adapter that goes from BSPT to 3 1/4" NPT and 1 1/8" BSPT. The sending unit is big and heavy and I don't want it hanging off the block for fear the vibrations will crack it. I have some braided steel line that has 1/4" npt on each end. I have a bracket I made out of angle iron to put onto the firewall and bulkhead fittings to go through the bracket. The problem is screwing the braided steel line into both the adapter to the block and the bulkhead fitting at the same time.

Not quite sure what you are saying. You have a tee with three 1/4 npt fittings? or 3-1/4 npt?

Sorry guess that is a little confusing. The adapter goes from 1 - 1/4"bspt to 3 - 1/4" npt and 1 - 1/8" bspt. Here is the adapter.

The problem is that nothing I have is an fittings. I looked but didn't find anything that goes from bspt to an, but even then the sensor I have is npt so I would just have to go back to npt on the other end.

Can you change the bulkhead to the one I linked? That gives you the swivel for one end and then you can screw the NPT end into your fitting.

Or screw this fitting into your adapter NPT x -3 AN:

Buy a -3 swivel both ends braided hose

Buy this bulkhead -3 x -3:

Or this bulkhead and use anther npt x -3an adapter:

I used this on my forklift with 37 degree flares and the Parker JIC x NPT fittings. It had some external oil pressure lines for (? forgot now) but were visibly split and leaking engine oil.

Very nice to bend and flare. Takes a little more time for a semi-rigid line but it worked out well.

If you have the ability to slot the mounting holes it will make pulling a hard line up tight and not having to sweat over the precision fit. Alternatively you can place compliance bends in the tubing.
