Looking for Butcher Block Top

A few weeks ago someone posted a link for on line source of butcher block tops for workbench. I looked at the site, but failed to bookmark it and can not find it in my history or anywhere else. I am looking for a 12' X 24", highest quality is not critical as I will be using it. Any thoughts or does someone maybe remember the site.

I thought I found one today in a antique store. They had a shuffleboard table there that was probably 20ft long with a butcherblock surface like a bowling lane. I really didn't look that close at the rest of it until after I saw that it was a Victrola I think. It was actually pretty sweet as a shuffleboard, and they said it was made by the phonograph company for a 2 year span in the 40's. $10,000 was a little high for my repurposing efforts...

That discount flooring place (Lumber Liquidators) sells the stuff pretty cheap. It's not listed on their website, but if you call them they've got it...

Could it be IKEA ? A "furniture" store with inexpensive butcher block planks - you can cut to size.

I have been using perfectplank.com for a long time, good prices and selection. When it comes to finishing the top, this is what i use.

Good stuff is very easy, wipe on, wipe off. Repeat on your counter tops one time a year.

I don't know where you're located but I live very close to Bally Block (Bally, PA). They sell seconds/lightly damaged/rejected planks very cheap. I picked up 2 pieces 30" x 60" for $35.00 each.

I bought a 10' section of bowling alley lane for $100. They were renovating the building. It is SOLID and looks great too.

+1 on Ikea. The Birch countertops are pretty soft but pretty decent.
