Looking for ceramic cement board

I'm looking at fabricating an outdoor fireplace that will have a metal structure (either steel or aluminum 1" square tubing) and covered with a fireproof ceramic board. The exterior will be clad with natural stone.
I'm assuming the Hardi cement board is not fire proof. RTF build frames covered in a ceramic cement board. Can anyone specify a supplier?

Is the board going to be exposed to direct flame ? Most people would build a fire box out of fire brick.

Planning on using a firebox insert.
