Here is a picture of one identical to the one I pulled out of a dumpster back in the '70s. After a quick clean up it has been hanging on my shop wall and running flawlessly with zero maintenance or repair. The original cord is still flexible and intact. "They don't make 'em like they used to"

In case some of you are too young to remember these, the red dot appeared when there was a power failure. That alerted you to the fact that the clock wasn't displaying the correct time and had to be reset.

They were popular in schools and offices across the country back in the day.

Make one. Most of the larger job sites fills several dumpsters full of large wooden cable reels. The last job I was on we had guys making tables, rocking chairs, clocks, and God knows what out of them. Google Cable reel clock. Go to it.

I found a cheap white clock at WalMart, taped off the dial cover, scuffed it up a little with scotchbrite, and painted it orange to match the Harley graphics I painted on the garage wall. Looks pretty cool, and cost a total of about twelve bucks. I have an HD bar-and-shield decal to put on the face. But I just haven't pulled it apart to attach the decal yet.

You could do the same in Ford blue, with a Ford decal, or something similar with Chevy, Dodge, Glock (Ha! A Glock Clock!), John Deere, Snap-On, etc.
