I'm getting ready to redo my garage and have been looking for photos of some of the coolest garages that I can find, and other than those in the Garage Gallery here, I have no idea where to look. Does anyone have any links to some off the wall garage pics so I can get some ideas????

I'm thinking of making mine look like a 20's -30's industrial motif with grey floors, lots of built in cabinets that I will make. Either quarter sawn oak or painted white like you would see in an old hardware store. Planning on putting some ceramic tile on the lower part of the walls for water protection (I have a floor drain and will washing indoors during the winter).

I'm not really in to the retro 50's look as it's been done to death and want it to look a little more upscale and different from everyone elses, if that makes any sense. Over the years I've seen some awsome garages with ceramic floors, raised panel wood walls, lots of wood moldings, etc., but can't find the photos.

Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Money is an object, but since I will be building everything myself, I should be able to get a lot more fo my money.

"Ultimate Garages" is a great book that I highly recommend any car guy add to his library. Not only do the pictures give you a lot of ideas, but it is actually well written and very interesting to read. I received it as a gift last christmas and read it cover to cover. I actually picked up few ideas that I used in my recent makeover. Redone garage picture

Check out the recent posts by member SANDOVAL. His shop has an exposed brick wall interior, which I feel gives it a very cool vintage look. I've toyed with the idea of covering one inside wall of the shop with some z-brick just for the effect.
