Does anyone know of an extension with knurling on the male end?

I found a couple Ampro sets on Amazon, but don't know if the pictures are accurate.

I love the knurling on Mac extentions ( I know it's at the wrong end). I wish the knurled their wobble extensions like that

Never seen it at the bottom. Put some hockey tape on there and you got a workable solution. People on here use hockey tape on their ratchets, screwdrivers, and assorted other metal stuff, right?:bounce:

My boss back in the day had a set of Snap-on extenstions with knurling on the ratchet end and smaller knurling on the square drive end.

I asked him where he got them and I think he said he had a machinist knurl them for him for 20 bucks.

Knurling was a life saver a few times when I borrowed them. Ive actually been thinking of having a machinist knurl my Cornwell extensions.

I have Mac, Snap On and Armstrong knurled extensions and prefer the Mac the most. The female end on the Mac makes a huge difference.

Very handy when removing small screws holding wheel well liner for instance...when there is no clearance for the socket wrench against the liner.

I am so tempted to buy the 3/8" regular Koken and sell my SO.
Is Frank's Tools the best place to get them?

It would be tough to knurl already made extensions because they are, I'm guessing, heat treated. Not to say it couldn't be done. Also, the chrome would probably chip off if it was knurled over it.

- Do you have a link for these Ampro extensions on Amazon?

- Also, here's a thread that shows good pics of something that may fit the bill. I have absolutely no experience with these.

What Is "wobble Plus" & "locking" Extensions

I like the knurling on the Mac extensions as well. I feel that they put it I. The best location. I wish my extensions had knurling like that.
