Looking for good quality air couplers

One of my projects is to replace all my crappy air tool couplers with ones of much better quality. All I can find locally at Home Depot, Lowe's and Harbor Freight are ****. The couplings all leak when a hose is hooked up. So, I'm looking to spend some money on some better ones and get rid of the leaks.

Can you guys recommend a specific brand I can buy online? Thanks!

Milton is most people's top choice, brand wise. Is it possible the problems you're having are more to do with style rather than mfr? The ubiquitous M-type (the only kind HD and Lowe's sells, except for the occasional old-school T-type) fittings are by far the most prone to leakage, regardless of brand. The professional A-type provide the best seal, but you get a pretty good seal from the high-flow V-type (HVLP). And the V's ARE available at Harbor Freight--they're called "high flow couplings". I have a bunch, and none of them leak. IIRC the plugs are 4 for $5, and the couplers are 2 for $6.

Both Milton & Coilhose are good brands. Parker is also a good brand. Amflo used to be before they went to China.

If you can't source Miltons locally, try the tool trucks as they usually carry them.

The Milton Hi-Flo type V fittings can be bought at Northern Tools also.

The couplers are fine it's the stress you put on them not having a universal.

I just replaced all my fittings with Miltons. Picked them up at my local auto paint supply store. Spent $30 and got 6 couplers male and female and a bunch of matching *******. No leaks at all!
I was told that each company makes their ******* and couplers to match. It's not wise to mix and match other companies hardware.
