Here's a few photos:

First off, the T-bird and office furniture are not mine, and will be leaving shortly. :p

Nice Sleekcraft, cant tell from the pics is it a jet, or??

Thanks! It's a stern drive... 350 SBC, I picked up the boat/trailer/engine for about $1000, and did a lot of work to it. Will finish it now that I have space for it! Here's the build thread:

Just a bit more work to do and she'll be ready for the water!

That's a great space as is!

Does it have 3 phase service?

Not really sure. I don't see any outlets so far on the ground level, but there is a lot of big electrical equipment upstairs.

Is it a lease?

Renting it for $650 a month with my roommate.

Nice place!

Do some research on the phrase, "critical path", in respects to work flow.

Thanks, will do! I think the first step is a workbench.

Is that a pool table in the 3D drawing?

Yep. Have a nice one already. Also going to put in a hot tub.

The ideas sound good so far. Since it's a lease it kinda limits you to non permanent stuff. Good benches, rolling work tables and garage art are my recommendations. If you could get a lift in there it would be heaven.

where is the garage door??
Personally id keep the boat away from the table, not everyone can keep the balls on the table..
other then that sweet space man. bathrooms above home theater may pose an issue at some point, Fridge by itself kinda lonly. Maybe add some counters & cabinets (for the hard liqour). Little bar sink.

Garage door is on the right, front side. I just figured since the boat is so big it can act kind of like a divider between the work/storage space, and the 'living' space. Might put up divider walls on wheels next to it.

Wisconsin eh? I would drop the ceiling where possible (ie, put in a drop ceiling), save on the heat bill. :)

It's actually super insulated. With the heat off it stays 55 degrees thanks to having only ONE exterior wall.

Here are your pictures, albeit a bit late:

Went through 6 gallons of mud and 300+ ft of tape. Ugh. Sanding SUCKED.

That rear wall took weeks to complete, it's freakin' huge. Over 20' high in some places, and well over 60 ft long. Was only working a few hours on weeknights, 3-4x a week. Now it's pretty and gloriously white, it helped brighten up the place a lot.

Lime green for the small wall. Really makes it POP. Secondary workbenches in progress. Need to sand, stain, and put the tops on. Tops will be plywood lined with stainless steel sheet.

Going to hang these guys. One's from a demo/race car, the other is from a 70s pontiac. Lemans?

Another pic just because it's so damn ****. I love the lines on this thing more than any other boat I've ever seen. Also bolted up the headers temporarily. Stellings brand stainless, hand made, full polish, fully jacketed. Awesome!

Got some HUGE spools from an electrical company, basically brand new, not weathered. FREE! :) Going to sand them, stain them with some white stain, and put casters on them.

Cool, another Sleekcraft owner! I have an 88 Sleekcraft diplomat jet boat. Just had the interior redone last summer, and am now fixing up the 454 in it. Dont have pics of it in my garage, but heres a link to the interior guys website where he took pics of it after they were finished. http://westcoastmarineinteriors.com/portfolio-details.php?showid=111&selid=40

Good luck with your new space and boat. Looks great.

Thanks! Found great plans for shelving on woodgears.ca, trying to figure out if I should stain the workbenches and railings a dark color, or paint white.

Top is lined with stainless steel sheet. Going to put an "edge" on the front to keep it from peeling up.

What way does the law work there about living in an industrial building?

i know ti would be frowned upon here, providing they found out.
