Looking for ideas - wall storage

I am "shoe horning" a machine shop into a 13' x 24" bay and want to use all available space for storage. I have filled in the footprint with a mill,lathe, press, grinder, surface grinder, wash tank, and 3 x 8 workbench. There is a 4 x8 peg board on the wall from the previous owner. While it is handy it wastes a lot of space that I can use to hang my rotary phase converter panel, metal cabinets, and possibly other storage.

I was looking for pictures of what you may have done. Any help would be appreciated.

A lot of guys like French cleats for versatility in use of wall space.

If you have the height, you could make a perimeter shelf accessible by a ladder for 'need to be stored, but infrequently used' items. Or a loft.

And I am a huge fan of the industrial shelving from Costco the Whalen Industrial Rack. You can expand either way from a single pillar, so it becomes an integrated shelving system not two individual shelves. Then bolt the things to the wall. The one issue I have is the shelves are pretty deep so its easy to loose things on them.

If you look at my build below you will see that I put storage in the wall. If you have a dividing wall that is not insulated then the in wall could work for you. Posts 13 & 29 show it best.

I use a lot of wall space. Still setting up my shop - will use more before I finish.

Enclosed a two-car carport to make a shop, then built a garage out from shop. Just recently finished it and trying to get everything put together and organized.
