Hi, I recently got this toolbox (and many other treasures) from a garage I bought the contents of. It was an oldtimer who passed, and his wife just wanted the garage cleaned, so we bought it, along with the truckloads of garage inside.

Anyways, can anyone tell me anything about it, or is it worth fixing up, is it worth anything to sell if I don't have the time to give it myself?

That logo was used from the late 50's to mid 70's.
There should be a mfg date inside the top compartment in the front left corner.

Check for a date stamp in the left most top compartment/division towards the front. 60's/70's. It's a neat box, but not worth much, especially in that condition. I think that might have been a canada only box.

Its kinda odd, never saw one of that vintage with a drop front. Based on the side handled, I'm going to say early 60's.

I'm fairly certain they were built for the canadian market. It needed extra layers to stay warm. :lol_hitti

I believe that someone, at sometime (how's that for being vague ?), posted that Beech made boxes for Sear's Craftsman line in Canada while Waterloo was making boxes for the US market. I'd bet that that's a rebranded Beech. I'd check Beech's catalogs from the mid-60's to 70's to learn more about that box.

Thanks for the information guys. I cleaned and looked for an hour, but I think it must be rubbed out. But knowing those few tidbits is good enough for me.
