I rescued this Chaz Parker Vise No. 5 from a salvage yard.
The markings are typical for these vises with the exception of the No.5.
I assumed because of the No.5 it meant it has 5" jaws, the jaws are 6".
I've not been able to find a lot of information on this and was wondering if someone can guide me to the right group. I'm a member of Vises for Vises group but have had no luck there.
I have several of American manufactures as well has a York 100.
I also have several anvils as well. I've been doing ornamental iron work and custom steel fabrication and repair for twenty some years and use these on a daily basis.
