Looking for input on new garage layout

We are about to start building our dream garage within the space we have available. Dimensions will be 28x24, with 12ft. ceiling. I will have a 2 post lift installed. My wife and I both drive on the track and I do quite a bit of routine maintenance, mostly involving oil changes and bleeding/working on brakes. No engine work or major projects. The lift will also be used to store one car on top of another. It seems to me that installing the lift "angled" would make ingress and egress a bit easier, any pros or cons to doing that? Any other input is welcome, we are still very much in the planning stage.

Thanks
David

I think that position for the lift makes sense. I this going to be a second garage, or is it replacing a smaller one?

The hoist position makes it the best way to get in and out the doorway. When I built the addition on my garage I studded it with 2 X 6 X 12's that I kept at 12', which gave me a 12' 4" ceiling height, which just clears the hoist cyl poles, good luck with your build. Merry Christmas.
