I think it would be significantly better than PAM. It is basically the same thing we used for years to lubricate track switches at work except in a spray can. When put on a clean, dry metal surface, this graphite film stayed on switch plates for months, even under heavy use. Sand and dirt did not stick to it and no amount of rain would wash it off once it dried. Some of it is still there, even though we switched to a more "environmentally friendly" (and worthless) substitute several years back.

yeah I have looking for a 100 series cub (International) in good condition but I just cant find anything either that or they want a huge amount of money that I simply cant afford. one guy wanted almost 3k for a fully restored tractor the machine is like 40 years old! not saying old is bad but 3k gets me a new JDx300 that I think is well made compared to other manufactures. also I can get parts and it has a warranty.

There is a collectible factor to certain older mini tractors such that cost for a fully restored model would exceed it's utility compared to buying brand new. As for the spray, in my experience under mount mowing decks are far more likely to rust out from the top. Regular maintenance is the best preventive measure for long life of an under mount deck.
