looking for magnetic bar

im looking for a strong magnetic bar to hold stuff with on the lid of my matco tool cart.i dont want something that bolts on it needs to be magnetic on both sides

You dont have to use the bolts I KNOW the matco ones are mag on both sides. I've been using them on my roller carts for 2 decades. Keith

I have done this in my tool box, works great and holds up well. The tape is stronger than the magnet. No need to overthink this one, just cheap and easy

Craftsman makes one. I picked one up at sears. $20... Or you can check out VIM magrails. I have both of them at work in my box an they work great

Another option is the Magrail TL from Vim Tools. A little expensive compared to the Lisle style.

Take one of your favorite bolt on strips and put cups and rare earth magnets on, in place of the screws. You'll need a crowbar to get them off.

Craftsmen's sell them. Snap ons supplemental catalog has a bunch of magnets and bars. Mac tools also sells them in a foot long or 2 foot.

Check out the magna pannels I tried the bar type 1 and it held stuff when lid was open but a 10 inch extension trying to close the lid it would just fall right off. And if u dont get them off the truck u can get a 12 by 12 for around 30 bucks
