Local listing has it at $2300 obo. What do you folks think? Most of my sockets and tools are in a cardboard box and a HF 5 drawer...:)

Thanks for the input.

Looks like a Proformance series. We have them at work, great boxes. We only have the bottom boxes though, I don't know anything about the top

That's a good box. I used to have the same set up. Upgraded to a matco triple bay. Sold the top and took the bottom box home. Brand new that set up was right around $7800ish.

I have matco pro formance with top and bottom in matching red. Have had the box for 13yrs. Bought it them brand new off the truck. No issues what so ever. My box stands 66 1/4" tall from ground to top of top box. Lots of room in it and drawers slide nicely. A little wax coat once a yr keeps it looking new. My box been used in both personal and a semi commercial usage and never shown any issues.. If you like it and decide to get it, it will be a great box.

Nope, district rep told me my slides were not covered under warranty as they are a wear item, and boxes are not lifetime warranty, needless to say a snapon box replaced it very soon after

+1 Same story I've gotten here.

That being said, I follow Matco over on FB and all I can say is WOW, MATCO knows how to make/offer sharp boxes. They post pics of some of the nicest/sharpest box color combo's i've ever seen. Makes Snappy boxes look dull & drab.
Only 2 boxes I'd consider buying would be MAC & SnapOn because of this.

All that being said, I'm gonna go out on a limb and think you probably dont frequent tool trucks do you? Couple months ago many SO Franchisee's had KRL722's on discounts which would have put them in the same $$ ballpark as this Matco you are eying...
