Looking for Odd Electrical Connector (Auto)

I need several of these for a restoration. Anyone know where I can find something like this? I don't even know what to call it. It's on a ground wire for a windsheild washer pump (Mopar). Thanks

If you can't find one you could probably make one out of a metal bushing and an uninsulated ring terminal. Nobody would be able to tell any difference visually unless they removed the fastener.

I just looked at Del City's website (which has some great items and awesome prices by the way) and didn't find it - but it almost looks like a .22 caliber pistol shell casing. I'd agree, a simple ring terminal would probably do the trick, but a .22 might be closer to the right dimensions (wall thickness etc) plus it already has a flange on the bottom. Just slip a ring terminal over the top, solder together and drill out the primer (which has been expended already) - drop by your local range and you could probably pick up a handful.

Sorry it took so long found a bunch of solid aluminum rivet like studs that you could solder to a normal elec. connector and drill out if they need to be hollow let me know dad had hundreds of these dont know for what send me a private mail ill send you a few or a pic let me know.

You can buy metal bushings in various materials, lengths, and diameters at your local (good) hardware store in the fastener section. Look in those tray boxes with all the odd stuff. That connector acts as a ground point as well as a rubber bushing support. Someone probably got a good pat on the back for eliminating a fastener and a hole. Many OEM's used them.

You also may be able to find them in salvage yards in fairly good condition. A quick dip in dilute hydrochloric acid would clean them up followed by a coating of solder to "plate" them. Just be sure to clean off the flux since it is corrosive.

Go look through the brass fittings at your local hardware or home improvement store. Ferrells (sp?) used inside plastic tubing with compression fittings to prevent crushing the tubing look a lot like part of that piece. Maybe you get lucky and it's the right size (they come in several) and you find a terminal ring to work with it. Chip.
