Looking for Outside Lighting Ideas

I'm starting to think about outside lights for my barn. I looked a little bit at fixtures online and most of what I thought I liked was crazy expensive. I'm not sure what I need, maybe a fixture on each side of the center door would do. I'd like something that fits in with the building, an motion sensing might be nice, but I don't want to pay an arm and a leg.

Here's the barn:

Do you have a Farm & Fleet near by?
They have some from functional to pretty.

Do you guys think that my plan of one light on either side of the overhead door seems reasonable, or am I going to wish I had more?

I like the idea of two lights: you can use dimmer bulbs to make the energy use about the same. Shadows will be softer and you'll better be able to judge how far away you are from the building by having two points of light.

I love the look of these, but just about everything I find seems outrageously priced.

Yes. This one was $60 total shipping and all from eBay, for comparison. I added the mount and wiring.

That's a 12" model. eBay has 12" and 14" items all over but you have to shop carefully. I wanted something really vintage and it took me about 3 weeks before this one popped up.
