Here is what I got...
We just built a new house in San Tan Valley, AZ. My garage is a 3 car tandem with 4 ft extension. We had the garage insulated above and beyond standard. I had the garage door insulated as it faces south and the hot AZ sun. I had it prewired for dual ceiling fans (installing those this weekend).
I want to do some sort of either portable air conditioner(s) or a evaporative cooler (port-a-cool). If I went with the ac I was thinking of putting one in the deep 3rd car and one by the garage door. If I do the port-a-cool it would most likely be in the 3rd car as I have a soft water loop I can tie into.
I would like to be able to work in my garage during summer with the garage door closed. with that being said, what are everyone's thoughts on either.
