Like the title says, I am looking for a recommendation to heat my pole building. I have an existing 30x40 with R20 of foam board in the walls and R-60 of blown in fiberglass in the ceiling. The new 40x60 building is connected to the 30x40 and will have R23.5 of fiberglass blown in the walls and R60 blown in the ceiling. The 30x40 has an 18x10 2" insulated overhead door and the 40x60 has two 18x10 insulated doors.
I just ran a propane line from my tank to the shop and want to install a heater to keep the buildings around 50 degrees all winter long. I'm not out there every day and I have an existing wood stove in the first building that I will fire up when I'm outside working to save on propane. I have been looking at Mr. Heater, Modine and Reznor but am not sure on the sizing or quality differences between heaters. Any help would be appreciated.
