looking for Rotissorie thread

I'm looking for the thread on building automobile rotisseries.
I'm pretty sure it's on this forum & that there was a whole thread dedicated to that, but I did a search & can't find it.

If anyone knows where it is, or links to other forums about this, please let me know.
Also, where is the best place to buy caster wheels for one & are rubber wheels better than cast iron?
I only need to be able move it in the shop, not outside. Thanks.

I did that. I found 1 or 2 posts about it, but I thought there was a complete thread about building them.
Some even had "blueprints" with dimensions, metal thickness info, etc.

MP&C: thanks for posting the threads. It didn't come up when I did the search.
I know I could just start building one, but i'd like to look at what others have done & incorporate all the best ideas.
I built one where I used to work (15 yrs ago) & it did the job, but some things could have been better.

Popular method is to modify a pair of engine stands with a taller center mast and wider outriggers. Bigger casters help too. After that, it's all about little things- if you want jacks on them to raise the mast, stop positions, bracing, etc.

I like this:

What I did is take all the years of bad designs, wasting too many hours, spending too much money, and packed the best of the best into a 36 page eBook.

I'd like to look at all the bad designs, look at how others wasted too many hours, etc & Make my OWN that I know is going to work the way I want it to.
Sure I could just buy one & hope it does what I want it to.... but of all the ones I looked at... none of them have exactly the features I want.
I'd like some of the features of the bigger / nicer ones, but don't need the real big wheels or portability / tow-ability of many of those.

For me one of the best additions I would want is the hydraulic jacks in both ends. I used my cherry picker (engine hoist) to lift mine up and it was a pain in the *** to keep going from one end to the other.
