Like the title says, I'm looking for a screwdriver set with a fitted tray. Can't justify the truck brands pricing. Kobalt makes, make that made, a nice set with a tray for 20 some bucks, buy it's no longer available. You guys know of anything else?

I have the same Proto set, though I paid much more locally. Got it after watching a YouTube vid demonstrating how the handles are resistant to pretty much every shop chemical you could imagine.

I second the Carlyle's set, we have them at work and they get used constantly. Came in under 50 bux iirc.

Another vote for the PROTO Duratek screwdriver set. Get the 8 piece combination set with bolstered blades. US made, same as MAC aside from color.:thumbup:
Now if that's too rich for you, check out the Gearwrench offerings at Cripe Distributing either on eBay or at their website.
Cripe had a Gearwrench 10 piece combination screwdriver set with maroon acetate trilobal handles (like old school Proto yellow handles) for around $20 plus shipping. Taiwan made but, great screwdrivers, however no tray but, trays are a waste of space

I bought a few of those sets, made great gifts and still using a set. How will they handle the Lifetime Warranty if no longer available?
