Got a Ridged 16 gallon shop vac last November also got with a car accessory kit. Was just putting all the accessories and tunes back into the shop vacuum but then every time I want to use it I have to pull everything put. What have you all done for you shop vac storage?

I drilled some holes on the side of my Husky cabinet to accept pegboard accessories. The hose is in a rack that I found in the HD storage aisle

Are you saying you store the accessory kit inside the vacuum? The kit didn't come with a box or case or something? Looking at what is shown on the Home Depot website, there's a hose and some end attachments - I'd probably just find a cardboard box of a suitable size and keep them in there.

A knit-mesh bag, w/a drawstring, only needs one nail or screw from-which to-hang. I believe they are often-used as soiled-clothes bags, awaiting the laundry. The corrugated hoses are a bit of a problem, they're bulky, and not easily secured. I use a couple of the long Velcro ties from Harbor Freight to secure them in a few big-loops.

^^^^ this +1 on the mesh bag for the attachments. You can usually find them at Walmart in the laundry section etc.

For the hoses I coil mine up then take a bungee cord and loop it through the center once or twice and secure the loops by hooking the cord with the cord end. Then use the other end hook to hand it off something.

Yeah, the kit did not come with a case or bag. Currently I have 2 hoses that are the biggest issues to store. The original hose is stiff and does not play well but the accessory kit hose is pretty nice bit a smaller diameter.

Thanks for the ideas so far.
