Looking for Slip Resistant Flooring

I’m looking for some ideas for flooring. I am just finishing up a 10 x 10 room in my garage and I am looking to put some sort of tile or paint down.
The key word is that it has to be “slip resistant” and economical. I like the colored checkered designs but am always tracking in wet feet.

I have read lots of threads for paints and tiles but nothing specifically for slip resistant.

Any thoughts or ideas?

Hi,
We assuming by the size of this area that it's not for parking, so why not use our self priming 93% solids epoxy and broadcast on a large size non skid? Non skid aggregates are inexpensive and are available in many particle sizes. The caveat is that the larger the non skid size the harder it is to keep clean so it's always a tradeoff. They are all the same price so it's not a cost issue.

For a 10 x 10 space you could easily get by with a gallon of Rustoleum garage floor epoxy. The paint flecks provide some traction and you could also broadcast some sand into the surface if you want it really sticky. This would be excellent for 'wet-feet'.
Available at Lowes.
