Guys,

Am all over the map trying to track down an 240v 2500 watt max unit heater, one that can be attached to the ceiling or wall, the one and only one I can find is over $300 but yet I can find plenty of 240v 4000 watt for less that $200.

Can anyone point me in the right direction or suggestions.

Thanks in advance

You should look at this one:

I just bought it - works amazing on 5000W mode but the nice part is you can jumper the terminals inside and vary the wattage. With a 240v circuit you can jumper it for 2500W, 3332W, 4165W, or full 5000W. Very nice unit not too big, very quiet and cheap.

+1 For the price this is a great heater. I had it in my last garage and it worked like a champ heating it (24' x 24').

^^^Agreed. As mentioned, it can easily be rewired to different wattages (instructions are included with the heater).

Lots of places sell it, so shop around. I bought mine off of Amazon.

Why the limit on wattage? There's little downside to a bigger electric heater except for wire size. It's not like fuel burning heaters that lose efficiency and longevity if oversized. Do you already have wiring in place and that's the reason for a smallish heater?

Rugged....I have a Dayton G73 sitting in my attic but its a 5000 watt unit. I think moving a few jumpers around you can lower the output?

Let me know if your interested
