Was at a service call the other day when I spotted over my customers work bench was a socket rail but instead of clips that hold, sockets the clips held 2 bits each
I've been wanting something like this to hold bits and sockets on the same rail. Customer had his hands full so i never got a chance to ask him. The rail look like a gearwrench style.

If you scroll down the page it looks like he has it attached to a socket rail. It would be a good idea!

I've got the MATCO style like these (picture about 3/4 down the page)

I have a rail with all my Torx sockets and one of these on the end of the rail with all my Torx bits. Same with hex. The 5/16" bits that fit the impact holder I keep loose in old pill bottle in the drawer with the impact.

The screwdriver bits (slot, phillips, square) I keep in magnetic backed holder stuck on the cover of my cart.
