Looking for some Craftsman Pliers

I have a set of Craftsman pliers that I purchased 10 or so years ago. This was originally a 6 piece set. I have managed to misplace the end nippers and I would like to replace them. I don't see anything like these on the sears site any longer. Does anyone know a model or who made them for sears at the time so I could possibly find a replacement?

I have attached a photo of the remaining 5 pair in the set.

Thanks!

I inherited that set -- or at least part of it -- from my brother. I can't help you with who made them originally, but I can concur that they're terrific. I use them all the time and often reach for them first.

There's one listed in this set, but this one doesn't list a breakdown of individual tool numbers.

Somewhere I've got a 6 or 7 year old tool catalog. If I find it, I can look up the number.

I have seen it happen where something will not show up searching sears website, but looking for it by number will still pull it up, and it's available for purchase (no idea why).

Those are little end nippers also. I got the same ones. I dont think craftsman has the big end nippers in that style anymore.

The original post did not specify a size.

Any set I've ever seen, the nippers, needlenose, and diagonal cutters are always the smallest ones in the set.

Thanks for the replies guys... Yes, the original pliers were the 6+ inch version not the smaller little end nippers.

It doesn't sound like my quest to find a replacement pair is going to be easy...

I think we have an older Craftsman catalog here at work. I will check.
The picture is flipped-
End nippers are 9-45326

While most of the Craftsman pliers were made by Western Forge, the end cutting nippers that you had were likely made by either Cooper tools or by Channellock. I remember seeing individual 6"+ end nippers on the shelf at the Sears Essentials store that was near me a couple of years ago, but that store closed last year.

Finding full size Craftsman end nippers is going to be tough. They have not offered them for years.

I was going to suggest that. The pliers in my armstrong catalog look exactly like the craftsman in my toolbox.

Thanks for the replies guys. I will look into the Armstrong.

After, that is, I turn the garage upside down AGAIN looking for them. Why couldn't I have lost any of the other 5 that are readily available! :)

We have the nippers you are looking for in our store. The Craftsman name got wire brushed off, but these are the correct ones.

Feel free to contact us.

Thanks, Jim

I have the same set but mine came as a 5 piece set with what you have in the photo. I have recently bought more from Sears just like the ones in the picture. I only picked up the duck bills and cutters because I have the others in different brands but they are still the same USA pliers from the past. I did not see the end cutters but not sure I looked really hard because I have a pair from Knipex.
