Hi All,

I'm building a mock springer fork for a bicycle. I'm looking for some coil springs about 1.5" I.D. at least 8" long. That are going over a 1.25" tube with 8" between the triple tree yoke. Something like this

I'd prefer chrome but stainless would be ok. Any creative solutions out there?

I'd look for moped shocks, they would be small enough to be proportional on a bicycle. For that matter, a bicycle shop may have some springs off old offroad bikes laying around in a junk bin.

I didn't think of motorcycles.
Don't the forks have springs inside?
A junk fork may be a good place to look.

You said mock springer? So the springs are for looks?

If so then just get some stainless wire and a mandrel ( pipe or wood dowl) and wind your own springs
