Hi guys, I'm fairly new to this forum, only been on for a couple of weeks. I'm looking to sell a few of my good tools from 20 plus years ago to have a few dollars to get some custom goodies for my newest toy. I was a heavy equipment technician over 20 years ago and have a full array of tools. I have been out of that business now a long time and got rid of the more specialized stuff, but I have some large wrenches that I will never need or use again most likely and there is no reason for them to continue to take up room in my tool box any longer. I only used Snap-On, Mac, Matco and Craftsman tools during that 22 year period I turned wrenches, and I know the first three are expensive, as I know what I paid way back when. That said, I'm not trying to get rich off of what I am trying to get rid of, but I don't what to get overly screwed either so I'm hoping you guys can help me price what would be considered a good deal for someone that might need these. I will be putting these on Ebay I assume, because I believe I can't sell in the GJ classified until I have been on here longer and have more posts. Anyway here is what I have and want help pricing.
Snap-On- Long 12 point combination wrench set 3/8" - 1" eleven wrenches total, Mac- Angle wrench set- 9/16" - 1" eight wrenches total, Mac- Angle wrench set- 1 1/16" - 1 1/2" five wrenches total, Craftsman 12 point Boxed wrenches- 1 1/8" x 1 5/16" & 1 1/16" x 1 1/4". I also have a PRO 1 1/4" 12 point combination wrench. I also have a Craftsman open end wrench 1 1/8" x 1 1/16". I also have a huge pair of Mac racheting snap ring pliers. Any suggestions for what you guys feel would be reasonable pricing would be appreciated. Again, I want to get rid of the stuff, but I also want some $ to buy some stuff too. I'm thinking like 30 - 50 cents on the dollar?
