So I do a ton of volunteer work at our local Little League.

We used to have a vendor that delivered our bread products.
We have contacted them to pick up their bread racks a few times a year, for past 3 years, but they didn't seem interested.
Driver sold route and is no longer interested
Was told company who they are from has been bought out by bigger company.

In cleaning out the storage area I was told to get rid of them, so I brought them home in hopes of finding a useful purpose for them.

There are 34 racks
2 "dollies" for the racks. (I knew I could find a use for these)
1 is for double stack of trays the other is for single rack of trays

Looking for suggestions on how to repurpose the trays

You could build a frame out of wood or angle iron and use the trays as slide out storage shelves. Vary the heights so you can store a variety of items. Maybe cut 1/4" ply sheets to fit inside a few of them if you are worried about items falling through.

Mount them on the wall, buy a bunch of s-hooks, and use them as a sort of pegboard type system for hanging/storing odd items.

Lined with landscape fabric, you could them as a base/bottom in a raised container garden box since they would never rot - frame up a box and legs out of 2x4 and 2x12.

Use them as a roof or privacy wall panels in an up-cycled/modern style shade canopy/pergola system. Maybe even plant some vine plants to grow into them.

I think I need to go find me some bread racks...

I saw a youtube video the other day on recycling plastic. I think it was...
1. Break into small pieces
2. Heat at 350F in the oven until liquid.
3. Repeat 1 and 2 until container is full.
4. Add pressure and let cool.
5. Put on lathe or milling machine and make cool stuff.

That is seriously ridiculous

I would make rack and store stuff on these. You can pull rack in or out as needed to get to items. Overall idea is like a tool box with drawers.

Actually mdbeck is not far off, tho I'd not use my everyday stove for fear of smell/mess. This could be done I guess if you have a form or maybe a bread pan and a good way to apply some pressure. It also depends on the material(plastic type) for your heat range. I have worked in the plastics industry for 15yrs so I know a bit about it. If interested look up plastic injection molding or Blow molding or molding plastic sheets.

^ ^ ^ Injection molding company I worked at just ground them up and used as
. . . . . Re-Grind . . . . so used material was mixed with virgin plastic pellets.

Ratio could be as low as 10% regrind if part/mold was picky. Less demanding parts could be as high as 50% regrind like the plastic holders underneath 1 lb Coleman propane bottles.

For OP's situation, dream up what would help him best . . . .
. . . If he's chasing gold nuggets in hand mining operation on California river, then make shaker sieve with fine-mesh screen inside bread rack tray !! ;)

They look like good tomato vine trellises.
If you don't garden check out if there is one of those "Inner city" garden projects in your area.

I do appreciate all of this valuable info

My older brother may have used it for the cannabis in his younger days.

Couldn't come up with anything worthwhile on my own, probably just gonna drop them at the recycling center

Unless someone hits something that works in my circumstances

Thanks for the Ideas

1. Bake a lot of bread
2. Buy a big white van
3. Use trays to deliver to random people

Can you find local bakery that could use these? Or something along the lines of such?

Seems silly to try and sell these when I'm sure there are many places that could use them.
