Looking For Thinset Recommendation

From researching on this forum it seems the kerabond/keralistic thinset combo is highly recommended, especially for low temp areas. I'm in CA where it doesn't get too cold, but was inclined to go with kerabond/keralistic to be conservative and was wondering if that would be overkill for my application. Another wrinkle is that a portion of my garage will be sealed with an epoxy with sand broadcasted on top- the purpose for which is to seal some heavy grease stains.

Recommendations would be appreciated.

I'm from Southern California and I've always had good luck with Verabond. You can get it from your local Home Depot. I've used it for both porcelain and heavy limestone tile. Use white if it's a light colored stone.

Thanks, Shea. Any thoughts or experience with what type thinset works or doesn't work over exposure with sand broadcasted on top?

Maybe grab a back of ultracontact form Mapei, or perhaps just one jug of Keraply/kerlastic and mix that it the thinset for those areas? That polymer supposedly helps adhesion.
