Looking for torx plus tamper-proof in screwdrivers set

Dear folks

Looking to get Torx Plus (i.e 5 points star not 6 points) in screwdrivers set not as bits

I tried to search for it couldn't locate them on ebay,I was able to see them in bits set which is not what i want

Regular torx plus is still 6 lobes though, it's tamper resistant torx plus that has only 5. Are you sure it's not pentalobe? Anyway: Both Wiha PB swiss only have regular torx plus as a fixed handle screwdriver, so I'm not sure that some other well-known company would make them.

Years back I was looking for some bits to match screws on a fuel system. They appeared to be torx plus tamper proof. However, regular torx plus tamper proof tools did not fit correctly. The screwdrivers that were supplied to us were too long to be used on the piece of equipment. Anyway, on post #35 there are some pictures of what was supplied.

If your looking for very small "precision screwdrivers" check out tools for phones or video games. I think that I have seen a kit that comes with torx plus tamper resistant screwdrivers.

Pentalobe isn't the same as tamper proof TX plus though.

Not sure you will find individual drivers with torx plus tamper-proof. I use them most everyday and they (work) supply us sockets and not drivers.

Difference between names TS1 and IPR ?

Some are calling them IPR1 since IPR is the sizing name used by Wera Tools and Wiha Tools for their larger size of the 5 point Security TorxPlus tools. IPR is essentially the same thing, although the IPR tools have a hole in the end to accommodate the security pin on the fastener. We have also seen the same driver by chinese manufacturers referred to as TS1 which is another abbreviation of Torx Security.

Pentalobe isn’t 5 point torx. They aren’t the same.

I’ve never seen a driver set. I have a 1/4 Mac security set

Those are communication enclosures. They come in different patterns but size on all of them if roughly 1/2" called slam locks
