All,
I am nearing completion of the interior of my garage. I built a knee-wall from concrete block 2.5 rows high, capped off by a 2x8 pressure treated board. On top of that is the 2x6 wall with 5/8 drywall. This leaves me with roughly an inch between the inside edge of the drywall and the inside edge of the concrete block. I am looking for ideas and suggestions on some trim or millwork to finish off the bottom edge of the drywall and cover the edge of the 2x8 pressure treated cap.
I am attaching a pic I have to help illustrate what I am talking about....where the bottom of the drywall wall section meets the concrete block.
I am thinking I will need to stack several layers of millwork up to cover the dimensions I am needing, but wondering what others have done to "finish" the transition from the concrete block to the wood and drywall.
Thanks.
