I am looking for some idea's for by basement 1/2 height walls. The basement is about 4' below grade. I had drywall on it but i removed it because of some moisture problems. The lower part of the wall is studed out & covers the concrete foundation. The up part is studed w/ drywall & there is a oak ledge between the two. I looking for something different & cool looking. The ceiling is a dropped tile & the floor will be a ceramic tile w/ the wood look.
Thanks,
Matt

Hopefully the outside of the foundation was sealed. If it were mine, I'd seal it with either Dryloc or UGL what is below grade. As far as the dropped ceiling, why not rip it all out and drywall it?

dropped ceiling is the way to go in a basement. makes life a lot easier when a pipe leaks, or you need to add/fix something that would otherwise be covered in drywall.

Diamondplate? that would be moisture proof and look pretty awesome
