I'm looking to buy new wall panels for my garage like this one:

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00147J4AK/?tag=atomicindus08-20

But they're expensive. 2 piece of 1ft tall x 8ft long panels for almost an hundred dollars? You've got to be kidding me! :eyecrazy: I need to cover about 4ft x 50ft and I'm not going to spend thousand dollars if I can buy panels of wood for so much cheaper.

I'm looking somewhere else for more reasonable prices.

Where did you get yours? How did you like them?

Many thanks in advance.

Keep on eye on stores going out of business, espeicallly at malls.

I got enough slat wall for my entire shop for lass than $100. It does require some patching to reinstall used, but the price was right.

If you can find slatwall with the groove reinforcement, get it. It holds heavy stuff much better.

Google "how to make a slat wall". There are lots of plans out there on how to easily and cheaply make the same thing.
