I haven't been able to find these locally so I thought I'd ask you guys. I need a set of rubber or non-marring covers for needle-nose pliers. Anyone know where to get these?

I've tried that. I am trying to hold a bezel against a painted dash while I tighten it. Don't want to slip and gouge the dash or mar up the chrome bezel. But, you've given me an idea. I have some small diameter clear poly-vinyl tubing that I'll try.

I use vacuum line for heavy duty stuff, lighter stuff I use heat shrink tubing. Use the thicker HD shrink, then of course heat shrink it on a set and keep for l8tr. Hope I helped a touch.

I have used plastic dip in a can, you can dip them open several times let them harden up and you will have instant plastic grips.

Why not a bezel wrench? you can make one from an appropriately sized nut driver with a file...
